We tracked the first 6 songs for an upcoming record and have some decent rough mixes. The idea is to independently produce the album and try to get a label to sign us for distribution and promotion. MY QUESTION: How can I start shopping these mixes to majors and large indies now, as opposed to waiting for the album to be complete? All advice is welcome! I'm a french canadian come from quebec province and I find your site professionnal and I hope to have more gig booked by Sonicbids!! One question is running always in my head, have you think to put a "French Section"? I guess that you have gig in France , Belgium, and all country who's speak french. I'm not so bad in english but sometimes it's hard to capture all of the subject for a gig. It's just a proposition, I guess you will reach more French artist if you put a "french Section".
